Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court records, but Indiana County's records are not held by one single clerk. Civil and family filings route through the Prothonotary. Criminal case files route through the Clerk of Courts. Estate, guardianship, marriage, and Orphans' Court matters route through the Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court. Traffic, summary, landlord-tenant, and preliminary criminal matters often begin in Magisterial District Courts. The goal is to make those divisions easier to understand.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Indiana County, the Pennsylvania courts, the Sheriff's Office, the Prothonotary, the Clerk of Courts, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, estate, jail, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret a specific Indiana County case for you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, office holder, or procedure remains current after publication
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
